Services
There is a regular forum which serves to facilitate structured feedback and communication between residents and management. Relatives are always welcome to attend and express their views at these meetings. Each month we produce a newsletter for residents and relatives to keep everyone up to date with developments at the home.
All meals are prepared and cooked on the premises by our in-house catering staff. Menus are prepared with the advice of dieticians and nutritionists. Only quality ingredients are used and are sourced from local suppliers wherever possible.
There are regular changes to menus within which individual diets are catered for. The cook will speak to all residents on first arrival about any particular likes or dislikes they may have.
Light refreshments, tea or coffee and cold drinks are available throughout the day. Residents may have alcoholic drinks on request (if compatible with medication).
Pets are welcome with prior agreement and pets may visit the home.
Bird tables, boxes and bird feeders can be placed outside the resident’s bedroom and are especially suitable for residents who spend a lot time in their room. Visits from the Pat –a –dog group are available.
Laundry is ongoing throughout the day and evening to ensure that residents’ clothes are returned clean and ironed to their room.
